Review: rimmel stay matte powder!

hey everyone! firstly, if you saw this post up about an hour ago and clicked on it and there was only the pictures up sorry about that i was in the middle of writing this post id just uploaded these pictures and i have to go out i came back to realise i had published my half done review!! :o so sorry if that had you confused but its here now the full review!....

i got this powder simply because of the huge hype around it in the bbloger community and i was curious to see what everyone was so excited about and at first i have to say i wasnt sure about this powder i have combination skin and my under eye area is quite dry so when i put this powder on for the first time i notice the powder caking with the concealer i have on

i know it is powder and its job is to dry your skin but i just didnt like the look of that at all!
however, after a few weeks of avoiding it i decided to give it another change! and was very careful around my under eye makeing sure i had blended it well and i had absolutly no problem with it  i like the finish it gives and i had no shine all day!

id say im definaty joining the beauty bloggers raving about powder because since i started using it i havent stopped! id say its about a medium coverage unless ofcourse you get the transparent one and id say it last up to a good 6-7 hours because i have been wearing it to school everyday and it has kept my makeup looking the same all day!

the only think i would say is if you have dry skin this probably wont be for you, but to be honest if your skins really dry i dont think you need a powder at all! i hope you found this review really helfull

heres a picture of me wearing the powder...(dont know why its sideways!!)

hope you enjoyed!! love you <3

Collection lasting perfection concealer-worth the hype?

i don't know why but i was very sceptical about tiring this product, id been looking at it for ages before one day just picking it up.i don't know why i was so prejudice about this product I'm guessing just because of the huge hype around it i thought "could a £3.99 concealer really be that good?" well the short answer to that question............ YES!

this concealer leaves such a flawless finish and blends a dream! the coverage i would say is medium to full but it doesn't look really thick on the skin its the most natural looking full coverage concealer I've ever tried! Also is doesn't cake throughout the day i have been using this concealer for school and when i get home this hasn't budged!here's a swatch or two...:)
one this i would say about this concealer is that the applicator get ALOT of product onto it so where  with other concealers i would put the applicator straight onto my face i have to add in an extra step of first putting the concealer onto my hand then blending into my face using a concealer brush.
overall i love this concealer and don't think ill find another one of better quality at the amazing price of £3.99( at boots) any time soon!

i hope you enjoyed this review if you have any products you would like me to review don't hesitate to leave me a comment or email!

have you tried this concealer? if so what'd you think? xx

MUA undressed pallete review!

todays post is a review on the new MUA palette, the palette named "undressed" this is MUA's answer to the famous urban decay naked palette.the palletes are very similar with the biggest difference being... the price tag! this new MUA palette is only £4 and available at superdrug.under 1/8 of the naked palette! And you could never tell by the quality of the product.there are 12 eyeshadows 3 of them are matte finish and the rest shimmered.the matte colours were a bit dissapointing for me they arnt very pigmented or easy to blend. The other 9 shadows are a completely different story! the pigmentation is amazing and blends a dream! the quality is crazy for the price!i think this will very soon become a must have beauty item in the beauty community!Unfortunatly this brand isnt available outside the u.k but you can get the paletes on ebay etc. :)

swatches first row i order... (the faint colours are the matte ones!!)

second row in order.....
i hope you enjoyed this review and it helped you learn a bit more about the product! i love it! what do you all think? <3

1.MUA heaven and earth pallete!
this pallete is all shimmered neutral colours. i use neutral colours for a smokey eye or everyday look.and i usally prefer matte colours for an everyday eye especially for school! so this summer i reallly wanted to change it up and shimmer! all of these colours have great pigmentation and very good ware for a £4 palette! i did a full review of this which is linked here..

3.rimmel waterproof gel eyeliner
this product is just perfect for summer! its water proof which is good! but its also pretty easy to remove at the end of the day as well it comes with its own brush so you can easily carry it around (perfect for festivals!!)it is super easy to apply as well  and i just love it! what more can i say?!

4.sally Hansen maximum growth nail polish.
this has just been a lifesaver for my nails this summer! as we arnt allowed nail polish in school summer the only time i can enjoy coloured nails so they've been painted constantly! this polish i always have on as a base coat and my nails are as strong as ever!

review: soap and glory skin and body care

hey everyone! todays post is a review on the soap&glory products i have been using. if you have any recomendations or want me to try a product to review feel free to leave a comment below!

Hand Food - hydrating hand cream

ok so this hand cream has been raved about alot and i know why! it is so soft and leaves your hands feeling so smooth and not sticky i used to be a gymnast so i have very rough skin on my hands from doing bars for so many years and this hand cream has actually helped that alot! its smells really good to which is always a bonus and they are not joking when they say "hand food" because it actually contains marshmallow!! (im not joking!) i never used to use hand cream on a daily basis but since i found this one i never leave the house without it! you can also get a travel size which is 50mls which is perfect for throughing in your handbag!

Clean on me - moisture shower gel.

ok so im not really that fussy with my shower gel i usally just use whatever i find in the shower that day! but i really like this one! its so moisturising and lathers so well! it smells really good aswell but the smell doesnt linger which i like :)

Girligo - spray on body moisturizing mist

i think along with hand food this is one of my favourite s&g products! it is so moisturising and when you spray it the product sprays evenly onto your skin instead of some sprays that tip a load of product in one place!

The righteous butter - body moisturizer

when i first used this moisturizer i noticed a difference straight away i think it works best if you apply it right after a shower or bath when then when your skin is dried it is so so so soft!! it doesnt have a scent either!this moisturizer is perfect for anyone who has dry skn but i feel any skin type could love this!another thing i love about this moisturizer is that it is not greecy at all and absorbs into your skin really quickly!

Glad hair day - shampoo

i know this product was in my june favourites but since then i ran out and was going to get it again but before i got it i notice that since i changed shampoo i noticed my hair stayed fresher for so much longer! so i ended up not getting it again but it does leave your hair really soft but you will need to wash it again the next day.

flake away - body polish

i wanted to save one of the best til last and this one is definatly a favourite! i know in the picture it looks like ive barly used any but its beacause ive used one up and got a new one! again this just leaves your skin so soft (i feel like ive said that about 12345653211 times!) but this is literally the BEST exfoliater ive ever tried! it smells good to but its a really light scent and goes once youve washed it off.this is the product ive been using longest and just love it so much !! :)

i hope you all enjoyed this review i know it was quite repetitive!
also i would like to give a huge shout out to megan who is a reader of my blog and who emailed me a lovely message and weve been chatting since! LOVE YOU MEGAN! <3

so again hope you enjoyed and please leave a comment and follow!

Helen E cosmetics review!

hey everyone! todays post is on the cosmetics line Helen E i recently discovered them in debenhams as they are opening a counter there i picked up a few items to try and ive been using them now for a month and thought id tried them enough to review them for you guys.Helen E is a high end cosmetics line and is the official line of miss world.Although they are high end i was very surprised at how reasonable the prices were i only got a few items but i am really impressed with the items i have tried an will definatly pick up some more very soon.

The first thing i picked up was the cream and concealer duo which is a concealer and foundation for every skin type which is good for girls just starting with make up and dont know their skin type and shade yet.they are very thin and liquidy so probably wouldnt be good for really oily skin but it blends really well and matches my skin tone well. Its 20g and priced at £16.50.I really love this productand a little goes a long way with it.

the foundation blends to match your skin tone
The next product i got is the lip crayon in the shade cheeky which is a pinky-red colour i thought i would try and be more adventurous in my lip colours this summer and thats why i picked this one up they are very creamy and have a matte finish this is the product i have used most from these and i really love it. the colour pay off is great and stays on for hours.its 2g and £8

i also picked up an eye shadow brush which was £8 at first i loved it because it is so soft (literally as soft as m.a.c brushes!!!) and the brush is really good but it is quite big for an eyeshadow brush so i dont use it for my lid i would sometimes use the end of it for my crease but i wouldnt really recomend it unless you have big eyes (lucky if you do!!)

the final thing i picked up was one of their shimmer eye powders in shade 2 which was only £5.00 the can be used wet or dry and are really shimmered! if you are concidering getting one of these eye powders i would recomend swatching them in the shop because the colours come out quite different than the colour in the pot for example the one i pick up looks like a very light cream colour that could be used in the tearduct area or as a highlight but actually blend to form a light goldy colour i swatched it in the shop though so i knew how it would turn out and love the colour the onlt thing i would say is they are a bit to shimmered for everyday make up for me but i love the colour for a night out!

hope you all enjoyed! follow if you did it would mean alot!!!
