june favourites!!

Hey everyone so this months favourites are mostly beauty products because ive had exams and been finishing up school so i havent had much time to try alot of new make up looks or products ive just been doing my everyday look which you already know about ill link that blog post below...
http://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=8576801579231603675#editor/target=post;postID=3661710472015901511

1.  the first favourite is my nivia moisturiser its so thick and so moisurising the only thing i would say is to apply it at night because it takes a while to completely absorb into the skin so i wouldnt apply it in the morning in case i look oily but this is the best moisturiser ive ever used so i would recomend it to anyone! It is available at superdrug for £3.95 -  think! (around that much anyway :/) you can get it in boots and ive also seen it in home bargins.
2.   next favourite is the wella schockwaves ultra strong power volume moose i have been applying this as part of my hair routine since may and i have noticed a big difference! it is very easy to apply and i apply it on a comb and comb it through my hair befor i blow dry it. i just love it so much at the minute and it is so easy!

it the same product in the two pictures the lightings just different haha ^
3. my next favourite is definatly my boots natural collection passionfruite body spray! iv had it since last novenber but havent really started using it till this month its so summery and fresh and gives a light fruity scent!its available at boots for £2.00!
4. my next favoutite if definatly the soap and glory glad hair day shampoo which again ive had for a while but only just redisscovered this month i just love it! it smells so good and lathers really well it leaves your hair so smooth and feeling so fresh!i got it at boots for £5.50 which is a bit pricey for a 250mls shampoo but i think it definatly worth it and will be repurchacing it! there is conditioners aswell in the glad hair day collection for the same price that i havent tried yet but i am excited to try them out!

5. on to my make-up favourites and my first one is the miss sporty pressed powder which i picked up at super drug for only £2.99! it gives a clean matte finish and takes away and shiney/oily areas of your face it also helps set your make-up and i have especially noticed for concealer it helps keep it on all day!

6. essence eyebrow designer in shade 04 blonde - this is a recent find that i got 2 weeks ago but i though i would show it anyway because i have used it everyday since! im quite happy with my natural eyebrow shape so i like to have a pencil just to fill it in lightly this pencil is good because it matches my brow colour exactly and comes wth a brush on the lid to shape your brows (i have to say tho i dont use to brush it comes with because i think its to small and fidgity so i would use my normal eyebrow comb) i would use it with a clear mascarra as my brow gel and i just love how easy it is! i picked it up for £1.99 at boots
7. the final product i have been using for ages now everyday and its about to run out :( so ill have to get it again soon and it is the rimmel london stay matte duel action concealer in shade 010 ivory it give really good coverage and stays on really well! i have oily under eyes and this concealer is the only on i have found that stays on all day it also has a green center which cancels out any redness on your face so it is perfect for blemishes! it is available at superdrug and boots for £4.99.
i really hope you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful please follow

guide to make-up brushes!

hey everyone! sorry i havent posted this week ive been so busy finishing off school but thats us finally off for summer so ive plenty of time now for blogging!! todays post is really a beginners guide to make-up brushes and the ones i think are essential for everyday make-up.hope you enjoy and find it useful and if you want to be updated on my posts please follow!

face brushes!

the first face brushes would use everyday is a foundation and a concealer brushes i would definatly recomend using a brush to apply and blend your foundation firstly because it gives a more professional even finish than using a sponge or your fingers and also because as long as you wash your brush regularly it means less germs get on your face as well because brushes have way less germs than fingers and used sponges!! usng a brush for your concealer also helps blend it better and look less cakey and the fine one also help concentrate on blemishes instead of blending concealer over the whole area and not fully covering the blemish!

fine concealer brush   concealer brush    foundation brush

The next brush i would use would be a powder brush which is just a big loose brush designed to set your foundation and concealor without smuging it i think powder is essential to set your makeup if you are going out for a lengh of time so your make up wont run even if you dont wear foundation powder also removes oily patches of skin giving a matte finish.apply the powder by dabbing it on of in circular motions to avoid smuging foundation etc.
next a blush brush. pretty obvious what this is for! i use it to apply blusher in circular motions to the apples of my cheeks.
the last face brush is an angled contour brush and i use this to contour my cheeks, jaw line, neck and temples they are good because they have are narrow to apply a line of bronzer to contour another brush which would be good for contouring would be a fan brush as they are also thin.

fan brushes

eye brushes!

there are so many eye brushes out there but ive pick the top five that i think you could create any look from the first one is a lid brush which is a flat brush designed to spread colour all over the lid the next one is the angled crease brush with is angled to allow you to apply colour to your crease and more colour going to the outer part of your lid, the next brush is the highlight brush which is loose and quite large to apply highlight to your browbone, next is a thin brush for your tear duct area which is very dense to apply alot of colour and the last essential eye brush is a blending brush it is essential if you are using more than one colour on your eye if is large and loose so it wont smudge the colour and mix it all together but it will just blend the colours smoothly into each other giving a natural effect.heres all of the brushes i will label them below.......
tear duct bush   highlightbrush    crease brush     lid brush       blending brush

lip brushes

ok so usally when i apply more subtle lip colours i wouldnt use a brush but when you apply more bright vibrant colours like reds etc. i think they need to be perfect because any mistake will be very noticable! so these two brushes i use on the corners of my lips and cupids arrow

 lash and brow brushes!

ok and the last brushes i would call essential would be a brow comb and a lash brush the brow comb is just to help shape your brows and the lash brush i use to remove any clumps in my mascarra after i apply it so i guess it isnt essential but i think it is so so useful and use it everyday after i apply my mascarra!

so i hope you all enjoyed this post and it helped you! and another post is coming very soon now that im off for summer!!

oh and i wanted to ask you all for a favour ... at the minute im not really happy with the mascarra im using in was an inexpencive W7 mascarra and i used it anyway since it was ok but its been 3 months but i dont know what one to get so if you love your mascarra could you maybe leave a comment for me?? thanks <3

MUA heaven and earth pallette review

HI everyone!! so for my first ever proper blog post i thought i would do a review because i love this product and knew i had sooo much to say and rave about it! its the MUA heaven and earth palette.MUA is a superdrug brand that is sooo inexpensive and the quality i have found is amazing!!When i was in superdrug i asked to lady working there is because it was so inexpensive would it be bad for my skin and block my pores and she told me that MUA are made by the same company as MAC and is designed for people starting out in make-up so they can experiment without splurging too much!!Unfortunatly it is only available in the U.K but any of you outside the U.K could maybe pick it up on ebay if your interessed.ok back to the pallete it is all neutral colours and is great for a smokey eye or an everyday look.It has 12 different colours in it including a range of base colours, highlighters and darker crease colours.i love thi pallette because it is amazing for everyday use and was only £4.00 !! the pigmintation is super aswell.the only thing i would say about it is that all of the colours are shimmered (which if you like shimmered eyeshadows is perfect for you) but i also like to use matte colours so would prefere if they had some mattes in there to!The packageing is simple but also sturdy and protective so all you really need and it comes with an applicator brush which i personnally dont use but thats really down to your choice.
I just love this palette and have been using it on a day to day basis so i thought i would share that with you since it is so affordable yet the quality i would score a 3.5 out of 5 which is good!Oh and i thought i would just throw in that is a dupe for the urban decay naked 2 pallette but obviously a fraction of the price! so i hope you enjoyed my review and follow if you want to see more!

some swatches for you guys <3
